- Salary Range: New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $26.123 per hour. For detailed compensation information, view the Para Salary Schedule . The salary listed reflects the 2025–2026 school year. Salaries for the 2026–2027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. If any updates or adjustments are made once the new salary schedule is finalized, all impacted individuals will receive the updated salary.

- Codes, classifies, catalogues, receives, checks out, and shelves library materials
- Converts written material to computerized library system
- Monitors circulation of library materials and delivers and retrieves library materials
- Performs library material inventory, and reconciles discrepancies
- Explains basic use of library facilities, resources, equipment, and services and provides library resource location, data search, and service assistance to students and teachers
- Assists individuals and small student groups locate library resources and materials
- Monitors students at assigned site and reinforces positive student behaviors, enforcing administration policies and rules governing students
- Discusses and coordinates instructional efforts with teachers and library staff
- Coordinates the classification, indexing, shelving and circulation of books, periodicals, audio-visual and multi-media information
