Qualities needed to be successful in this role would include:
- Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections using gauges, measurement tools, and test equipment.
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and rework accurately.
- Read and interpret prints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Assist with first‑article inspections and sample layouts.
- Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions under guidance from engineering or quality staff.
- Help maintain calibration of gauges and test equipment.
- Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, good record‑keeping, and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work closely with production on the shop floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework a plus.
- A life learner.
