Job Description:
As a Personal Trainer at Denver Health and Fitness, you will be responsible for designing and implementing customized fitness programs for our diverse clientele. You will inspire and motivate members to achieve their fitness goals through a variety of training modalities. Our ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, has excellent people skills, and is committed to providing top-notch service to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to clients' individual goals, needs, and abilities.
- Conduct fitness assessments to establish baseline metrics and track progress.
- Provide high-energy, engaging, and safe training sessions.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout environment.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for all members.
- Collaborate with other trainers and staff to create a cohesive team environment.
- Participate in gym events, promotions, and marketing efforts.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working with clients across various fitness levels and goals.
- Exhibit a willingness to think outside the box and develop innovative training strategies.
- Promote and sell personal training packages and other gym services.
- In addition to PT sales and lead generation, this position is responsible for ensuring the maximum effectiveness of selling by instituting ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
- Nationally accredited certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM).
- CPR/AED certification.
- High energy and enthusiastic personality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to program and coach across multiple training modalities (e.g., strength training, conditioning, sports performance, etc.).
- Willingness to think creatively and innovate training methods.
- Available to coaching small group training classes per trainer level classification.
- Sales experience or willingness to learn sales techniques.
- Family-friendly attitude, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for all members.
