Looking individual with training and/or experience with light-duty diesel vehicles.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubricants and filter replacements.
- Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
- Repair and replace parts/components for more difficult repairs including but not limited to the fuel system, battery, engine, drive train, onboard computer, transmission, air brake systems and FHWA Inspections.
- Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues; work independently and seek assistance as needed.
- Record final measurements, services and parts used during the last stage of a job, noting any special customer request(s).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Always maintain professional communication with Denver Diesel personnel and customers.
- Understand and effectively follow all shop safety procedures.
- Limit comebacks to zero
Education & Work Experience
- Trade school certification or additional vocational training preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of experience required
- Driver’s license required, CDL preferred but not necessary
- Mechanic Certification Class S7 preferred but not necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
