Teacher Aide

Denver Christian School is accepting applications for this anticipated opening. The start date for this position would be January 19, 2026. This is a part -time position following DC's school calendar. This position is Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 12:15 pm. 

This is an hourly position starting at $16.33/hour.

Position Summary: The Teacher aide supports the classroom Teachers through working with students and covering duties.

Professional Expectations: In addition to the Employee Handbook and the Faculty Procedures Handbook, the Expectations of Teachers Aide include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide students with support as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Work individually or with small groups of students using a variety of techniques to help students with their daily work instruction. Being actively present in the classroom(s) to support the learning of students.
• Assist students when needed in the classroom in conjunction with the classroom teacher.
• Support effective classroom behavior management as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Works closely with the Extend Teacher.
• Coverage of Duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working with children - school setting, church school setting, etc.
• Experience working with students.

Salary : $16 - $20
