Job purpose
This position is responsible for providing leadership and support of the organization’s selection and use of applications, data and systems. In collaboration with the Vice President of IT and the DCPA Leadership team, this position will help identify, plan and deliver the information technology priorities as set forth by the organization. In addition, this role will also have ultimate responsibility for overseeing the maintenance and compliance of our application environment. As a senior IT Leader, this role will maintain a customer service-oriented IT culture and provide tools that maximize access, ease of use, and efficiency of employees.
Duties and responsibilities
Leadership
- Serve as the primary responsible contact for the DCPA’s application, ticketing and systems and services
- Lead and facilitate discussions and decisions regarding the selection, implementation and management of applications, systems and services that support the DCPA’s mission
- In collaboration with the VP of IT and the Director of IT, Project and Business Relationship Management, establish an enterprise application and data management strategy
- Analyze department workflow and delegate projects to ensure departmental and organizational goals are met
- Hire, train, lead and develop direct reports to align with the organizational goals and strategic direction
- Assist the VP of IT in implementing long and short-range strategic objectives, operating business plans, and policies
- Represent DCPA’s interests in actions, communications, and decisions
- Enhance DCPA’s position as an innovator/thought leader/change agent in the field of live theater
- Act in a leadership role in the implementation of corporate initiatives/strategic planning/innovation management
- Actively work to create an engaged, diverse, high-performing organization
Applications and Data
- Provide guidance for, coordinate and support the implementation and integration of DCPA’s application, ticketing, event management, and data tools, systems, and services
- Provide guidance and establish standards with respect to data usage and analysis across the DCPA’s different business teams
- Establish training and support materials and management processes and standards appropriate with the DCPA’s use of application, ticketing, data and event management tools, systems, and services with goal of achieving an intermediate functioning level for all primary users
- Develop and maintain recovery/business continuity plans for application, ticketing and data tools, systems, and services in the event of disaster or damage and facilitate correction of any problem or failure
- Serve as escalation point for high level troubleshooting

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (computer-related field preferred), or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience working in SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, Power BI, Excel
- 5-7 years of experience working in enterprise data systems such as CRM’s, ERP’s, financial systems, etc.; experience in show ticketing CRM systems such as Tessitura, AudienceView strongly preferred
- 2-5 years prior management experience preferred
- Prior experience with Tessitura is highly desirable
- Ability to establish relationships with business community
- Ability to take initiative in learning and implementing new concepts and technologies
- Detail oriented with demonstrated problem solving ability
- Highly developed verbal and written communications; proven ability to explain and describe technology in layman’s terms
- Demonstrated knowledge of show ticketing systems and processes
- Ability to manage and influence in a cross-functional organization, with diverse stakeholders with varying degrees of influence and authority
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical requirements

Compensation
$105,000.00 - $ 115,000.00 Annually

Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
