Ballyhoo Hospitality Group is currently seeking a diligent Dishwasher to join the team at DeNucci’s in Lincoln Park.

Concept Overview: DeNucci’s is a Ballyhoo Hospitality concept that celebrates the tradition of Italian American dining through handmade pastas, classic dishes, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, with locations in Lincoln Park, Highland Park, and Hinsdale. The menu reflects the comfort and generosity of Italian cooking with familiar favorites and house made specialties designed for sharing around the table.

Each restaurant is designed to feel vibrant and welcoming, creating a space where guests gather for celebratory dinners, casual meals with friends, or a glass of wine at the bar. With its warm hospitality, classic Italian flavors, and energetic dining rooms, DeNucci’s brings the spirit of a neighborhood Italian restaurant to communities across Chicago and the North Shore.

Job Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, transporting and storing all pots, pans, utensils and tableware used in the food and beverage operations in an efficient and proper manner

Essential Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize and store properly all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors.
• Maintain clean dish machines with appropriate chemicals.
• Maintain three compartment sinks with appropriate chemicals.
• Assist in delivery drops, stocking products, breaking down boxes and recycling them properly.
• Maintain swept and mopped areas that are high traffic including but not limited to walk- in coolers and hallways.
• Maintain clean and swept areas in the back of the restaurant including but not limited to
• near and around the trash/recycling receptacles, linen deposit bin, basement and back doors.
• Perfumes other duties as assigned.

Job Related Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to remain calm during high volume service or difficult situations.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand and bend for a long period of time
