This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), based in Charlotte, NC. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the GSOC operations, ensuring comprehensive security monitoring and situational awareness on a global scale. Day-to-day tasks will include managing operational staff, implementing and improving security technologies, analyzing security threats, and coordinating appropriate responses. Additionally, the Manager will develop policies, provide training, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard corporate assets and personnel.
- Experience in managing Security Operations Centers (SOC) and overseeing monitoring and incident response processes.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, intelligence analysis, and security technologies.
- Ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with global stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience with tools and technologies related to cybersecurity, such as threat detection systems and data analytics platforms.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
