PRIMARY PURPOSE: Ensures efficient operation of the Extended School Day program through clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of ProCare Software
Knowledge of bookkeeping
Ability to use calculator (10-key by touch)
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and do word processing
Customer relation skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficient skills in keyboarding and file maintenance
Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner to meet established deadlines
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Two years of secretarial experience
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provides clerical support as directed, including daily office management and telephone support.
- Maintains daily/monthly student attendance and absence logs for all extended school day campuses.
- Assists with the input and processing of purchase orders as necessary, compose and type correspondences.
- Schedules appointments for administrative staff, arranges travel schedule and reservations for travel and meetings.
- Maintains student files, monthly tuition reports, daily tuition reports, tuition late fees, student withdrawals, student databases and revenue reports for all extended day campuses.
- Labels and distributes extended day materials, and maintains program inventory database.
- Assists with preparation of staff in-service trainings and monthly staff meetings.
- Responsible for the enrollment of extended day students, maintains all required student enrollment forms and maintains enrollment report.
- Acts as a liaison between district, parents, staff and community.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
