Primary Purpose:
Provide event-day operational support for district athletic programs to ensure athletic contests and related activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with district procedures. Perform assigned event-specific duties to support students, staff, and community members during athletic events.

- Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, parents, and community members
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced event environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills (as applicable to assigned role)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Event Operations Support
- Perform assigned duties at district athletic events, which may include ticket taking, ticket sales, gate monitoring, clock operation, scorekeeping, ushering, field/court setup, or other event support tasks.
- Follow district and campus procedures for assigned event responsibilities.
- Provide courteous customer service to event attendees.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment before, during, and after events.
- Support athletic department staff and event supervisors as directed.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to district policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Report concerns, incidents, or safety issues to the event supervisor immediately.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Tools/Equipment Used: Point-of-sale systems, ticket scanners, two-way radios, scoreboard/clock equipment, cash-handling tools, and standard office equipment as applicable to assignment.
Posture: Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Frequent walking and movement throughout athletic facilities and event areas.
Lifting: Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds); may lift and move tables, signage, event materials, and athletic equipment as assigned.
Environment: Work inside and outside in varying weather conditions; regular exposure to noise and large crowds
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; interact with large groups of students and community members in a fast-paced environment.
