Staff Accountant – Property Management
Jeffersonville, IN (On-Site)
Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is growing and we’re looking for a driven Staff Accountant to join our Property Management division.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience within a vertically integrated real estate firm. You’ll have visibility into operations, work closely with leadership, and play a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding portfolio.

What You’ll Do
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Manage general ledger activity
- Prepare monthly financial reporting
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Assist with corporate tax preparation and compliance
- Prepare and submit pay applications to lenders
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams
- Support ad hoc financial analysis for executive leadership (including CFO & President)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 - 4 years of accounting experience (real estate or property management preferred)
- Experience with Excel (required)
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
- Experience with Yardi (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork mindset
