What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thrift Store Associate position at DENTON COUNTY FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY?
We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented Thrift Store Associate to join our team at Upscale Resale. Thrift Store Associates assist customers and donors while maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming environment within the store.
Main Position Activities:
- Create and maintain a welcoming, clean environment at the Thrift Store.
- Maintain an excellent rapport with donors, customers and volunteers.
- Sort and process donated materials and set up store displays for merchandise.
- Provide customer service by greeting customers, responding to customer inquiries and managing complaints.
- Maintain appropriate records and reports on store activities that include accurately reporting and depositing daily sales receipts
- Maintain a sanitary and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum: High School diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and other Windows based programs.
- Retail experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
