What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mat Pilates and Yoga Instructor position at Denton Country Club?
We are seeking an engaging, knowledgeable Yoga/Mat Pilates Instructor to lead high-quality classes for our members. While the ideal candidate is comfortable teaching both Yoga and Mat Pilates, we strongly encourage applicants who specialize in either discipline to apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging Yoga and/or Mat Pilates classes for a diverse membership.
- Provide clear instruction and modifications for various skill levels and physical limitations.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes.
- Create a welcoming, professional environment that aligns with our club’s service standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after class.
- Communicate class needs or equipment issues to the Fitness Director as necessary.
Requirements
- Certification in Yoga (RYT-200 or equivalent) and/or Mat Pilates from a recognized program.
- Prior group instruction experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely demonstrate movements and guide members with varying fitness levels.
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A positive, member-focused attitude and commitment to delivering an exceptional experience.
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
