If you’re passionate about helping patients and have a strong background in dental office administration, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Patient Coordination: Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.Scheduling & Appointments: Manage patient scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments.Insurance Verification & Billing: Verify dental insurance benefits, process claims, and communicate with patients regarding their coverage. Ensure accurate billing and claims submissions to insurance companies.Patient Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, insurance coverage, and general office information.Administrative Support: Maintain patient records, handle correspondence, and assist the dental team with other administrative duties as needed.Collections & Financial Discussions: Assist patients with understanding treatment costs, payment options, and insurance coverage. Work with patients on payment plans or account balances.Compliance: Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dental office, specifically in a front desk or patient care coordinator role.Dental Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, including verification, coding, billing, and claims processing.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dental management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, etc.) is a plus.Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally.Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and maintain a high level of accuracy.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and assist other staff members as needed.
