We are launching a new in-house dental lab and are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Lab Technician to join as a founding member of the lab team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable being the sole lab technician, managing fabrication from start to finish.
Position Overview
This position focuses on digital dental fabrication using modern CAD/CAM technology. Work is performed independently with after-hours and weekend access, allowing you to work entirely on your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate restorations using dental CAD software
- Mill zirconia crowns and restorations
- 3D print dental models and components
- Fabricate dental appliances (nightguards, TMJ appliances, retainers, etc.)
- Perform quality control on all lab work
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and consistency within the lab
- Communicate with doctors as needed regarding design or case details
Qualifications
- Dental experience preferred (lab or clinical background)
- Experience with dental CAD/CAM software (ex: exocad, 3Shape, or similar)
- Familiarity with zirconia milling and 3D printing workflows
- Ability to work entirely independently as a sole lab technician
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organized
