RESPONSIBLITIES
- Present and explain treatment plans to patients clearly and professionally.
- Coordinate scheduling of treatment appointments based on patient and provider availability.
- Answer patient questions regarding procedures, costs, and financial options.
- Follow up with patients regarding pending or incomplete treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Stay informed about dental procedures, coding, and insurance guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years Dental Back Office experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
- Ability to explain complex information in a patient-friendly way.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for patient care.
EXPECTATIONS
As a Treatment Coordinator, you ensure every family feels informed, supported, and cared for while keeping our patient-first values at the center of each interaction. This role requires confidently presenting $500–$600 treatment plans and managing a high-volume checkout process with up to 6 families signing out in rapid succession. In a practice that sees 65–75 pediatric patients daily, this role requires excellent communication, accuracy, and a steady patient-first mindset.
