Duties

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage dental supplies inventory and ensure the operatory is well-stocked.
- Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a compassionate approach towards younger patients.
- Conduct preliminary assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with infection control standards in a dental setting.
- Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to dental health.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in dental assisting is preferred.
