A well-established, busy oral surgery practice is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on manager who can effectively supervise staff, maintain efficient office operations, improve scheduling and productivity, and ensure a high level of patient service.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, professional, and comfortable making day-to-day management decisions without requiring constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise front office and clinical support staff.
  • Coordinate staffing and ensure appropriate coverage based on daily operational needs.
  • Monitor doctor, consultation, and surgery schedules to maximize productivity and minimize unused appointment time.
  • Work with staff to reduce cancellations and no-shows and maintain productive schedules.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees.
  • Address attendance, performance, communication, and workplace issues promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, employee reviews, and disciplinary processes.
  • Establish accountability and ensure staff follow office policies and assigned responsibilities.
  • Oversee front-office workflows, including scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, referrals, medical clearances, and patient communications.
  • Monitor outstanding tasks and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Handle escalated patient concerns professionally.
  • Maintain effective communication between doctors, staff, and administration.
  • Identify operational problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Conduct staff meetings and communicate expectations clearly.
  • Help maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable compliance requirements.
  • Monitor office operations, supplies, equipment needs, and workflow.
  • Provide regular updates to administration regarding staffing, scheduling, productivity, and operational concerns.

Salary : $25 - $35
