We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both dental and medical billing, with a strong understanding of HMO and PPO plans, claim submission, and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Submit dental and medical claims accurately and efficiently
- Work with HMO, PPO, and private insurance plans
- Trace and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues
- Verify patient benefits and coverage as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of dental billing experience (medical billing experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, CDT/CPT codes, and claim processes
- Proficiency with dental software open dental
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cross-coding for medical billing
- Familiarity with pre-authorizations and treatment planning coordination
- Bilingual is a plus
