Marketing Assistant (Full-Time)

Position Summary

The Full-Time Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the marketing and sales efforts at DPS, with a strong focus on social media marketing and content creation. This position is responsible for coordinating social media marketing, managing promotional materials, maintaining databases, and assisting with continuing education events. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and organized, with a passion for social media and digital marketing. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering valuable hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the client database and mailing lists.
• Manage and create engaging content for company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Schedule and monitor posts, track performance, and engage with followers.
• Support the sales team with prospecting and lead generation initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and production of marketing materials including brochures, sales sheets, postcards, case stuffers, and other collateral.
• Manage marketing supply inventory by forecasting needs, placing orders, and confirming deliveries.
• Respond to customer requests for information, materials, and marketing resources.
• Process and track continuing education (CE) certificates and maintain accurate CE records.
• Assist in organizing logistics for courses, trade shows, and other marketing events.
• Manage client recognition programs.
• Compile and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
• Assist with other administrative and reporting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Customer service focused with a polished and professional demeanor.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to team goals.
