Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental office procedures. Duties will be split between administrative and clinical based on office demands.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar using practice management software
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle clerical tasks and dental coding
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
- Answer phone calls and emails and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist, Office Manager, Dental Assistant or in a similar administrative role is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software systems is a plus
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
