We are a boutique dental practice on Manhattan's Upper East Side. We give personalized, high-quality care in a calm, modern office. Our team values gentle chairside care, clear communication and long-term relationships with patients. We're looking for a skilled, personable Dental Hygienist to join us two days a week.
Duties
- Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and periodontal maintenance
- Take and review radiographs and intraoral photos
- Complete periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings
- Apply fluoride, sealants and desensitizing treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care and recommended treatment
- Keep accurate clinical notes and follow infection control protocols
- Work closely with the doctor and team to keep the schedule running smoothly
Qualifications
- Active New York State Dental Hygiene license
- NYS local anesthesia certification preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least 3 year of clinical experience preferred
- Warm, professional manner suited to a boutique, patient-focused setting
- Reliable availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
