General Dentist (Pediatric-Focused) – Associate Position

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled General Dentist with a strong interest in pediatric dentistry to join our thriving, patient-centered practice. Our schedule offers a healthy work-life balance with Monday through Friday clinical hours. We provide a competitive daily minimum plus a performance-based bonus structure, along with individualized mentorship to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations for both pediatric and adult patients
• Develop and present individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s clinical needs and comfort level
• Provide a wide range of general dentistry services, including preventive, restorative, endodontic, and minor surgical procedures
• Deliver compassionate, behavior-guided care to pediatric patients, fostering positive and comfortable dental experiences
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records, scheduling, and treatment coordination
• Adhere strictly to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Collaborate effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in pediatric and general dentistry

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active and unrestricted state dental license
• Strong clinical foundation in general dentistry with interest or experience in pediatric care
• Comfortable treating children and adolescents, with excellent chairside manner
• Knowledge of dental terminology and proper clinical documentation practices
• Experience with four-handed dentistry preferred
• Familiarity with endodontic procedures is a plus
• Understanding of infection control standards and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with patients and families
• Ability to thrive in a productive, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
