Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience and licensure)
Schedule: Full-Time
Monday–Thursday with some Fridays

Alma Dental Care is a modern, patient-focused private practice in beautiful Petaluma, California. We are looking for a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. Qualifications
- Dental Assistants: Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience required.
- Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs): New or experienced RDAs are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable assisting with a variety of general dental procedures
- Knowledge of digital radiography and dental software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during a wide variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images (as permitted by licensure)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Fabricate temporary crowns and take impressions when appropriate
- Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient
