Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using medical administrative support software
• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and current medications
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding pre-visit instructions and post-visit care plans
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
• Answer phone calls promptly, address patient inquiries, and provide clear information about services offered
• Support the clinical team by managing inventory of supplies and preparing examination rooms for patient visits

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with dental terminology to accurately understand and communicate health-related information
• Strong background in dental administrative support, including appointment scheduling and record keeping
• Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and multitasking abilities in a busy environment
• Dental office experience is a plus but not required; relevant healthcare experience is valued highly
