Dental Kidds is a high-energy pediatric dental practice focused on creating positive, confidence-building experiences for every child who walks through our doors. We’re looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping kids feel safe, brave, and proud of their smiles.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
• Create a calm, fun, and reassuring experience for children and families
• Educate patients and parents on oral health and hygiene
• Take radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) license
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Team player with a genuine love for working with children
  
  

Pediatric experience is a plus—but we value attitude, energy, and willingness to learn just as much.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday Shifts

• 730 AM – 1230 PM
• 1200 PM – 500 PM
• 800 AM – 500 PM
  
  

Friday

• 730 AM – 130 PM
  
  

One Saturday Per Month

• 730 AM – 130 PM

Compensation

$21 - $33 hourly

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize sterilized instruments, supplies, and materials for dental procedures
• Chairside assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and treatments
• Perform pediatric prophylaxis (Pedo Prophies)
• Float assist across rooms as needed
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Record vital signs, update medical histories, and maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment and maintain infection control standards
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide clear treatment explanations to patients
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certification in Minnesota (or eligible soon)
• Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program (CODA)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience using dental software and digital radiography
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• A warm, team-first attitude and a commitment to patient comfort and care
