What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oral Surgeon position at Dental Implants & Cosmetics of Rego Park?
Dental Implants & Cosmetics of Rego Park is a growing, implant-focused practice on Queens Blvd. We're looking for an Oral Surgeon to join our team on a part-time basis and perform surgical and implant cases alongside our NYU-trained doctors.
Schedule: 2 days per month, every other Thursday.
Compensation: 50% of collections. Estimated $1,000 - $4,000 per day, depending on case volume.
About Us
- In-house 3D CBCT imaging for precise surgical planning
- Busy, implant-focused practice with steady surgical referrals from our own patients
- Full-arch, All-on-4, implant placement, bone grafting and complex extraction cases
- Supportive surgical team and modern operatories
What You'll Do
- Perform oral surgical procedures including extractions, implant placement, bone grafting and full-arch cases
- Review CBCT scans and patient histories to plan treatment
- Consult with patients and explain surgical options, pre-op preparation and post-op care
- Coordinate care with our general dentists and restorative team
- Follow strict infection control and documentation standards
What We're Looking For
- DDS or DMD with an active New York State license and completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training
- Proven experience with implants and complex extractions
- IV sedation experience and permit is a plus
- Calm, caring chairside manner and clear patient communication
- Dentrix experience is a plus
- Russian or Spanish speaking is a plus
Interviews
In-person interviews are held at our office on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM or 1:00 PM.
