Dental Health Works is a nonprofit dental office dedicated to improving access to quality oral healthcare for residents of Cheshire County. For 24 years, we have been helping our community smile through compassionate, affordable, patient-centered dental care.
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Dental Administrative Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, keeping things organized, and working in a collaborative environment where your contributions make a difference, we would love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and manage daily communications.
- Verify insurance information and assist with patient billing and payments.
- Support insurance claims, account follow-up, and administrative recordkeeping.
- Help patients navigate their dental care with compassion and professionalism.
- Work closely with our dental and administrative teams to keep the office running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Comfort using computers and learning office software.
- The ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, welcoming demeanor.
- Dental front desk or medical office experience preferred, but we welcome candidates with transferable administrative and customer service experience.
