JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Patient hours are Monday through Thursday. Two Fridays a month are reserved for training, ordering, maintenance, and/or any make up days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completing X-rays
Prepare for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks for needed cases
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records
CE training provided
You will be provided training to learn the culture of the practice, optimal workflow, and verbiage.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Dentrix knowledge (1 year preferred)
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Current/Active RDA certificate and registration
CPR certified
Proficient at taking digital X-rays
