Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming upcoming visits using Dentrix and Weave.
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone and client communication channels, providing friendly, clear, and professional assistance to patients and visitors.
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring compliance with health regulation policies.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as verifying insurance coverage, processing billing information, and handling health insurance inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with referral offices, patients, and insurance companies to coordinate care and resolve issues promptly.
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times by following strict privacy protocols and maintaining secure documentation practices.
- Support office operations by managing correspondence, typing reports, and organizing medical documentation efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Dentrix.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies and health insurance procedures to ensure compliance and accurate processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone, email and in person.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining electronic health records (EHR) management and client communication.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Previous office experience preferred, along with familiarity using medical administrative support tools such as typing and data entry.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
