What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Assistant position at Dental Equipment Liquidators?

The right candidates will have a strong background in shipping, knowledge of warehouse operations, be familiar with inventory management and have the ability to problem-solve and prioritize work assignments. Basic computer skills needed. QuickBooks and shipping experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
· Prepare outgoing orders in computer system using QuickBooks and online shipping sites
· Communicate effectively with internal team, customers and shipping companies
· Process outgoing orders, review for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
· Process purchase orders, inspect incoming items and resolve shipment discrepancies.
· Organize and stock or re-stock incoming items.
· Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
· Demonstrate commitment to all safety rules and standards.
· Operate a forklift, order picker, scissor lift, as needed. Forklift certification and experience is a plus, or must be willing to become certified.
· Other duties as may be assigned
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Position can be full or part time (5-8 hrs per day). Must be able to read, write and speak English, to include written and verbal instructions. This position requires standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and lifting to 30 pounds; work is performed in an office environment and a warehouse environment, which is subject to cold and hot temperatures.
Pre-employment drug and background screening will be conducted.

Rate of pay is determined by level of experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
