General Dentist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Dental Surgery or a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an American Dental Association accredited college or university, and be actively licensed as a Dentist by the State Board.
The General Dentist will be responsible for locating and repairing cavities, preparing and fitting dental crowns, and performing other procedures as necessary. They will also maintain dental histories and charts on patients, recommend correction of complex dental treatments, and guide and counsel patients on preventive dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lokate and repair cavities
- Prepare and fit dental crowns
- Maintain dental histories and charts
- Recommend correction of complex dental treatments
- Guide and counsel patients on preventive dental care
- Provide direct dental treatment in all fields of dentistry, including urgency care, operative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, prevention and pediatrics
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an American Dental Association accredited college or university
- Active license as a Dentist by the State Board
