Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures.
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms.
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance.
- Educate patients on treatment and post-op instructions.
- Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day.
- Assist with charting and clinical notes.
- Support treatment plan presentation and case acceptance when needed.
- Create a welcoming and positive patient experience.
- Certified Dental Assistant in Florida.
- X-ray certification required.
- 1 year dental assisting experience preferred.
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced private practice.
- Experience with Dentrix preferred.
- Invisalign experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Treatment plan presentation experience is a major plus.
- Entry-level dental assistant: $18-$20/hour.
- Strong experienced assistant: $20-24/hour.
- High-level assistant with treatment presentation/case acceptance skills: $24-$28/hour.
