We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice in Plantation seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator / Front Office Team Leader to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional who enjoys helping patients, supporting the clinical team, and leading front office operations. The right candidate will play a key role in coordinating patient care, presenting treatment plans, navigating dental insurance benefits, and serving as a liaison between the clinical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients
- Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately explain coverage to patients
- Perform insurance breakdowns and understand plan limitations, frequencies, waiting periods, exclusions, downgrades, and coordination of benefits
- Coordinate scheduling to maximize patient care and office efficiency
- Lead and support front office operations
- Serve as a liaison between doctors, clinical staff, and patients
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
- Support office growth through effective communication and case acceptance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of dental office experience required
- Dentrix experience is required
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology
- Must have extensive knowledge of dental insurance, including verification of benefits, breakdowns, claim processing, pre-authorizations, and understanding the "rules of the road" for PPO dental plans
- Ability to accurately estimate patient portions based on insurance benefits
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude with a kind, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
- Leadership experience or management potential preferred
