We are seeking a passionate, patient-centered Dental Hygienist who is eager to grow both personally and professionally while being part of a supportive, high-performing team.
Position Summary
The Dental Hygienist serves as the primary preventive provider of the practice, responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care while educating and motivating patients toward optimal oral and overall health.
This role is essential in identifying periodontal conditions, supporting diagnosis, and helping patients understand the connection between oral health and total body health.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal evaluations (probing, recession, mobility, furcation)
- Identify early signs of periodontal disease and restorative concerns
- Take, process, and review diagnostic radiographs
- Perform head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
- Utilize intraoral cameras and technology to support diagnosis and patient education
- Apply fluoride and other preventive agents as needed
- Assist doctor during hygiene exams and support treatment planning
Patient Care & Education
- Review and update patient medical histories and clinical documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment recommendations
- Build long-term, trusting patient relationships
- Clearly communicate findings to both patients and doctors
- Motivate patients toward improved home care and overall health
Operational Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Maintain hygiene equipment and instruments in proper working condition
- Accurately chart treatments and clinical notes
- Schedule and reinforce continuing care appointments
- Support overall office flow and team collaboration

What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Washington
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on periodontal health
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to continued learning and clinical excellence
Schedule (Full-Time)- Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday – Sunday: Closed
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Combination of sitting and standing throughout the day
- Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Ability to work in a clinical setting with moderate noise levels
- Frequent patient interaction requiring professionalism and empathy
