Dental Hygienist Needed
HELLO!! Welcome to Dental Care Fargo, office of Dr. Carrie Peterson and Dr. Nathan Zaffke.
Are you a self-motivated, energetic, hard working team player with excellent people skills ready to join our team as a full-time hygienist or part-time hygienist?
Our office has an opportunity for a hygienist or two to join our established practice. We are looking for someone who will contribute to our low stress, team driven environment and loving dogs would be a bonus, but not required!

Job discription-Responsibilites
- Perform patient assessments, take vital signs, and provide dental hygiene care, including dental X-rays and other medical imaging as appropriate.
- Educate patients, including pediatric patients, on oral health and preventive care; communicate findings clearly and compassionately.
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment, follow infection control procedures, and use aseptic technique to support a safe care environment.
- Maintain accurate medical records, protect patient confidentiality (HIPAA).

Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist credentials and any required state authorization.
- Dental office or clinic experience; familiarity with general dentistry and patient care.
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology, anatomy, dental equipment, X-ray procedures, infection prevention, and healthcare infection control.
- Experience with Eaglesoft and Dexis is helpful. Understanding of medical coding is also helpful.
About the position and Benefits

Expected hours: PT 16-24 hrs per week / FT 32 – 36 hrs.per week
