Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics of Orange City is hiring a Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both staff and patients.
Status: Full-Time Mon-Fri (Off on Wednesday's) Traveling to our Winter Park location on Tuesday's & Thursday's.
Hours: Monday and Friday 9am-5pm ( 1pm lunch) Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5pm ( 1pm lunch ) off WEDNESDAY

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working as an Ortho Assistant
- Strong organizational and problem solving-skills
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Must be able to travel to our sister office: Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics of Winter Park (travel reimbursement included)
