Lakeshore Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Glendale, WI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. What we offer:
- Competitive hourly pay: $22/hr and Prime-Time/Saturday rate is the $30/hr
- Full-time Schedule: Mondays 2pm-7pm, Wednesdays & Thursdays 7am-7pm w/ 1 hr lunch, Fridays 7am-3pm w/ 30 min lunch, 1st & 4th Saturdays of each month 8am-3pm no lunch

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- One year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
