Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with examinations, procedures, and patient treatment.
- Perform expanded functions within the scope of your qualifications and applicable state requirements.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
- Take dental X-rays as needed.
- Maintain sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to support efficient office operations.
- At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience required.
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) qualification required.
- Current X-ray certification required.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Part-time: Tuesdays, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
- $20–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
