What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator position at Dental Avenu?
Dental Treatment Closer / Treatment CoordinatorWe Are Looking for a Closer.
We are looking for a high-energy, confident, results-driven Dental Treatment Coordinator who is, at heart, a sales professional and closer.
This is not a traditional front-desk or administrative treatment coordinator position. We need someone who knows how to connect with patients, understand their needs, communicate the value of treatment, overcome objections, and close the opportunity by getting the patient scheduled.
If you are naturally persuasive, competitive, comfortable asking for the sale, and motivated by results, we want to meet you.
Your Primary Goal
Turn diagnosed treatment and new patient opportunities into scheduled production.
You will be responsible for taking patients from “I need to think about it” to “Let's get it scheduled.”
You will present treatment, discuss fees and financing, address concerns, follow up relentlessly, and create a clear path for the patient to move forward with their care.
What You Will Do
- Present treatment plans with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Clearly communicate the value and benefits of recommended dental treatment.
- Build trust and establish a strong emotional connection with patients.
- Ask for the sale and confidently guide patients toward scheduling.
- Identify why a patient is hesitating and overcome objections.
- Discuss treatment fees, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options.
- Follow up with unscheduled treatment until the patient makes a decision.
- Convert consultations and diagnosed treatment into scheduled appointments and production.
- Respond rapidly to new leads generated through Google, social media, website inquiries, and marketing campaigns.
- Convert social media leads into consultations and consultations into treatment.
- Maintain an active pipeline of unscheduled and pending treatment.
- Work closely with the doctors and clinical team to maximize case acceptance.
- Help maintain a strong, productive doctor schedule.
- Track your numbers and continuously improve your conversion rate.
- Document patient interactions and follow-up activity in Eaglesoft.
You Must Be Comfortable With Sales
You should be comfortable saying things like:
“What is holding you back from getting started?”
“Let's look at the options that would make this work for you.”
“Would you like to get started today or would you prefer to schedule your first appointment for next week?”
You understand that patients often need someone to guide them through the decision, not simply give them information and wait for them to call back.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- A natural closer
- Confident and persuasive without being pushy
- Charismatic and highly personable
- Competitive and motivated by measurable results
- Excellent at building rapport quickly
