Duties
- Experience: 1–2 years of dental front-office or receptionist experience required.
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service , ensuring a positive patient impression
- Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix , while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
- Coordinate Treatment: Review treatment plans, discuss financial arrangements, and verify insurance benefits.
- Handle billing processes including collection of payments, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10 key), and familiarity with Dentrix
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology.
- Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and handle insurance claims efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental office workflows is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping, and administrative support tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
