What You’ll Do
- Answer phones with a warm, upbeat, and professional attitude
- ? Schedule and coordinate appointments for Doctors, Dental Therapists, and Hygienists
- Greet and check in children and their families in a friendly and reassuring way
- Verify and update insurance and billing information accurately
- Maintain and scan patient records and forms
- Coordinate interpreter services when needed
- Manage administrative tasks including referrals, records requests, prescriptions, and post-op calls
- Process and post patient payments accurately
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and lobby for kids and families
What We’re Looking For
- ?? At least 1 year of dental front desk experience (required)
- ?? Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but not required
- ?? Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification, and billing
- ?? Experience with dental software (Open Dental or similar preferred)
- ?? Excellent communication skills—friendly, patient, and great with both kids and parents
- ?? Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
- ?? High attention to detail and accuracy
- ?? Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
