- Greet patients upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the office calendar.
- Assist patients in understanding their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to coordinate treatment plans effectively.
- Handle medical billing processes and insurance verification for patient accounts.
- Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information and addressing concerns.
- Ensure the office environment is organized and welcoming for patients and staff alike.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical scheduling is preferred.
- 2 years of experience is required.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Experience in office management or as a dental receptionist is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures will be an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
