Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take proper diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with a sensor, including FMX.
- Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid EFDA certification in the state of Indiana.
- X-ray and CPR certification preferred.
- Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
- Skilled in Class IV and V anterior restorations.
- Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep.
- Ability to set and break operatories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
