Dental Patient Advocate

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing clear information about dental procedures, billing, and treatment options.
• Assist patients in scheduling appointments, managing follow-up care, and navigating insurance processes efficiently.
• Collaborate with dental teams to facilitate smooth communication between patients and providers, ensuring patient concerns are heard and addressed promptly.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to verify insurance coverage, process claims, and manage patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

• Strong understanding of dental procedures, medical terminology related to dentistry, and patient service best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.
• Ability to navigate Dental insurance
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
