This person will serve as the first impression of our office, ensuring every new patient feels welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their journey with us.
Position Summary:
The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for creating an outstanding first experience for all new patients while supporting practice growth through marketing initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all new patients (phone, email, online inquiries).
- Guide patients through the scheduling process and provide necessary information before their first visit.
- Ensure decision-makers are included in consultations for treatment planning.
- Follow up with new patient leads, ensuring timely communication and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to track new patient leads and conversions.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including referral programs, community outreach, and social media engagement.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support the front office team with general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous dental or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused demeanor.
- Comfort with technology, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
