What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant (Part-time) to transition to FT position at Dental 360 & Associates?
Dental 360 is hiring a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be team-oriented, patient focused, compassionate, and reliable. Must be able to multi- task and thrive in a busy work environment.
Dentrix Ascend or Dentrix software knowledge is preferred!
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
· Create a welcoming environment for patients and team members. We strive to build
relationships and earn our patients’ trust.
· Prepare patients for procedure by having all necessary instruments
· Assist Dentist with instruments and materials needed for specific procedures
· Instrument sterilization, clean, and sterilize workstation
· Compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA
· Provide high quality patient care
· Perform all assigned duties in a professional, accountable, and collaborative manner
· Regularly scheduled attendance is required
· Experience taking X-rays Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
· Dentrix Ascend
· Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
· Minimum H.S. diploma
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
· Knowledge of General Dentistry procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
