Working Hours: Full-Time OR Part-Time, Monday - Friday 20-40 hours/week between 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Amherst
Primary Responsibilities of Position:
- Completes clerical work to obtain pre-authorizations, as needed, prior to patient’s appointment.
- Provides back-up to Reception as needed; verifies patient demographics including name, address, date-of-birth, phone number, primary and referring physician and current insurance, and obtains patient consent to treat to ensure accurate billing. Assists patients with various Dent forms, and obtains insurance waiver signatures as necessary.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of patient information.
Compensation:
- Most candidates will start within the first quartile of the pay range
- Rates are commensurate with experience
