What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI/UX Innovator & Prototyper position at DENSO?
Seeking a motivated UX innovator to contribute to developing design solutions and improved overall design quality to user interface which includes interactions and prototyping as we work to enhance the users experience in future mobility services.
Overview of the role:
You will be involved in the research and creation of UI/UX design concepts and prototypes for clear visual communication and interaction providing the ideal user experience. Help to enhance the improvement of usability considering interaction, font, color, typography, motion/animation to expand DENSO business. Work closely with the team and receives instruction, guidance, and direction from senior level designers, & leadership.
Role & Responsibility:
- Creator of UX/UI design and ability to clearly communicate the design and prototype to the end user including preparing testing materials for validation of solutions
- Works with a team to create visual language, specs, and solutions of UI bringing personality to life through graphic design and interaction techniques
- Contributes to user research, create system solutions and concepts which define principles and personas for the project
- Development of UI concept and wire framing/flow considering research, persona, and journey map, including interaction models, mockups, user task flows, UI specs, and screen assets
- Development of info graphics to clearly convey research outcome to be utilized in client presentations weather internal or external
- Creates cohesive style guides to be applied across user interface; maintains consistency in visual elements and defines behavior throughout screens
- Generates motion samples, videos, and system features matching project requirements
- Assists and creates presentations, sketches, diagrams, maps, computer renderings, storyboards, videos, or other items, to properly communicate ideas and solutions to the team
- Assists engineers in development phases; provides appropriate material (including animation samples, screens assets, review documents) to guide engineers, using consistent communication
- Utilizes broad range of design related software to visualize and realize visual design solutions, keeping updated with the latest software, techniques, and design trends
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Creative Design
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design
- Automotive interior or customer electronics design knowledge
Preferred Skills:
- POC skill set, Operating system (Android, Apple, Microsoft)
- Knowledge of kit like Raspberry Pi
- VR/MR/AR, gaming platform like unity or unreal engine
