JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Planner will facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance of associates and contractors to ensure the tasks are performed to high-quality standards and in an efficient and timely manner. They will plan, organize, coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects or project assignments utilizing in-house maintenance associates, outside contractors or vendors. Position includes, but is not limited to, coordinating with campus operations teams on task assignments, assisting with and maintaining the development of the Maximo database for the site, and supporting the procurement of invoices and quotes from vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain the Maximo Preventative Maintenance system.
- Assist Senior Facility Specialists by supporting coordination of multiple vendors for PM/repair projects assuring safety procedures and quality work is performed.
- Communicate with vendors on day to day issues with our equipment that are impacting the operation.
- Complete misc. building repairs to avoid utilizing outside vendors.
- Work with Advance Admin to supply documents needed for PO requisitions and Invoices for closed projects
- Building Spare parts inventory lists Lead cross coordination of group maintenance support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. diploma or GED (associate’s degree preferred)
- 1 Years of maintenance planning, scheduling, or related maintenance experience. Experience using CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, eMaint, Fiix, etc.).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Solid understanding of maintenance workflows and best practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret equipment data and maintenance metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance software tools.
